Cut a thin strip of paper or string about 12 cm long.
Wrap it snugly around the widest part of the finger (often the knuckle).
Mark where the end meets, then lay flat and measure the length in millimetres—this is the inner circumference.
Divide that length by π (≈ 3.14) to approximate the inner diameter and match the closest EU / US column in the chart tab.
Measure at room temperature; fingers swell slightly during the day.
